or do you mean you need to sysprep a VM and you are looking to automate deploying a Windows VM?

you can do the latter quite easily – just sysprep and shutdown the VM, or even better leave it un-sysprep’d and use the templates feature of Virtual Centre to have it do all the hard work for you

My requirement is that, we need to run sysprep before deploying VMs. Better still, if there is any scripting api for this, to do it programatically.
There is an api for VirtualCenter but not for ESX servers.
Do let me know your thoughts on this.
