Nice article. I&#039;m running into the same situation here, but the command:
   esxcfg-vswitch –Q vmnic0 –V 1 dvSwitch1
keep giving an error:
   Invalid DVPort params 1
The issue is, this host was running the vCenter machine :) and even worse, it have only one NIC
