My ramblings on the stuff that holds it all together
There is a new build available for VMWare Workstation, I’ve installed it on my Vista laptop; definitley seems a lot faster and unity is pretty slick now at screen refreshes.
Flawless uninstall/reinstall as per usual VMWare standards… it’s almost there!
Unity icon has now changed to a rather nasty pinkish colour 🙂
Strange… it was pink before and after upgrading the vmware tools it went to blue for me.
Performance, just like the last beta build, also still feels faster and slicker han vmware wks 6.0.
However, Unity now properly handles Citrix applications! Thank you VMware! Now they just need unity to support the tasktray similar to the start button and I’ll be as happy as a pig in s#*!…
Is debug mode switched off in this version?
I’ve not got any way of explicitly checking, but it seems much faster so I would guess it is, or at least it’s turned right down
